This has been a challenging and difficult year for all of us. I have missed touring and sharing moments with people in different parts of the world. But during this period, I have valued spending time in the studio and sharing my work with you through WIP. To finish 2020, WIP04 contains two more positive and energetic tracks I made recently. ‘Pulse’ gives me a feeling of traveling and transporting far away, and with ‘Quartal’ I was returning to some ideas that come from my Jazz roots. Thanks for your support of WIP, it has been a great source of encouragement for me. I hope you enjoy them and stay safe. Wata 

今年は私たちにとって本当に困難な一年でした。個人的には、3月以降ツアーはなく、例年の様に世界の色々な場所で沢山の人々と時間を共有したりすることができなかったのは残念でしたが、この間、スタジオで制作に多くの時間を費やすことができ、WIPの作品を通して会えない皆さんと音楽を共有することを大切しようと動いていました。2020年の締めくくりのリリース、WIP04にはポジティブでエネルギッシュな方向性のフロアトラックが2曲収録されています。Pulseは遠い彼方へタイムトリップをしているようなイメージ、Quartalでは自分のルーツであるJazzに由来するアイデアをベースにしています。いつもWIPをサポートしてくれてるみんなありがとう。年末も安全にお過ごしください。Wata

Yhii is a DJ and producer from the heart of Yerevan and a resident artist at Poligraf club and the infamous DIARIES collective. Davit's foray into the world of electronic music began during his teen years as Cloistral, where he displayed a unique understanding of sound through an unconventional palette of emotions.
Over a decade, Yhii has become one of the most significant and beloved artists in the local electronic music scene. With a mystical ability to create a direct and pure connection with his audience, Yhii has become a household name, with his eclectic sets captivating the crowd with his stage presence. His unique approach to music has earned him a reputation as a boundary-pusher, constantly driving the limits of what is possible in electronic music.

The meaning of 108 Sun Salutations: 

Practicing 108 Sun Salutations is a meditative practice that connects the body, the mind, and the universe specifically when nature is undergoing a change. And coupled with this change in nature, you can start once again, fresh, renewed and inspired.

108 is considered a sacred number, representing the ultimate reality of existence (unity=1), being simultaneously one, complete and empty (=0), and infinite (=8), connecting Sun & Earth, and appearing in various yogic and spiritual contexts. for example there are 108 Upanishads, 108 mala beads, 108 Surya Namaskar.

Surya (sanskrit Surya refers to "the sun") Namaskar (namas "to bow to/to salute" + kara "action") is an invitation to honor the sun/the source of light behind everything.

The song is produced by DJ Pete with my vocals singing the Mantra 

lokāḥ samastāḥ sukhino bhavantu
 लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु 

Meaning: may all beings everywhere be happy and free. 
May the thoughts, words and actions of our lives contribute to that happiness and to that freedom for all.
