I wrote this the night John Lennon was murdered. I lived in Massachusetts and I was watching the pathetic Patriots when I heard. Like the rest of the world I was in shock. I used two songs he cowrote with Paul McCartney and John's wife Yoko Ono as lead into my song and then at the end.

Seine Warnung ist keine laute Anklage, sondern ein schwermütiges Klagelied über eine Welt, die sehenden Auges auf den Abgrund zugeht.

So the story is about a friendship about to turn into relationship, but the man doesn’t know if he should commit yet, although she does, she keeps telling him take chance “roll the dice”
