This album represents a time in my life where I've been able to overcome drug addiction by focusing deeply on my music. Music has already saved my life in the past as I've dealt with depression, (and still sometimes do), and there was a point when my music was the only thing keeping me going. I know that I will be an addict for the rest of my life, but in taking it one day at a time, my music really helps to keep me on the right path. “Highly Addictive” represents how music has become a healthy “addiction” in my life, and how it has replaced the negative ones, again most likely saving my life in the process.

After three long years we are proud to announce the release of a collaborative project that's been in the works between a collective of humans all around the world.  

The project is a experimental piece produced by Hypho & Abstrakt Sonance and the vocals recorded by Megumi Hope aka Dub Princess. We came together during lockdown with a passion to create something beautiful which would stand the rest of time  It was a very exciting time in the studio working alongside these two over the internet, each of us stuck at home like the rest of the world. We wanted to make use of our time and create something beautiful to help process the suffering we were all collectively feeling. 

Pre orders for the record are available now via the DDD Bandcamp. A LTD run of T shirts are also available in the short link 

The first single of the release will be out the 26th October which is titled ‘My Mind’  big love to BBC introducing for premiering this track on BBC radio Cumbria on Sunday!  

The full release will be available the 6th November  

Luke Gray created a stunning painting for the EP cover. It represents us all coming together as one and being in touch with our feminine. Our desire to acknowledge the challenges anxiety brings and how we use music as a tool to heal our traumas, trials and tribulations. Formed in 1999 in Wellington, New Zealand our sound draws inspiration from almost every part of the black music lexicon. Soul drenched vocals and jazz harmonies collide with tape delays and echo chambers, underpinned by a rhythm section as comfortable laying down a throbbing, techy soundscape as they are a swampy blues stomp.
