Hi, this track is from my 19-th album of experimental ambient music where I composed many of my own recorded sounds and combined them with played electronic sounds. Thus making very rich, textural, atmospheric and alive journeys with the sound. So I called this album "Aliveness" to summerize the whole creative process and pure energy of consciousness behind it.
So for the rich and subtile textures - I recommend to listen with your best devices for ambient music.

Somphou commence le breakdance et la musique par la guitare à 14 ans.
Sa passion pour le "breakdance" l'emmène à s'intéresser au scratch et au mix hip-hop. Il commence le DJing pour des soirées en mixant tous les styles.
Parallèlement, il commence le clavier et fréquente des jam-sessions où il explore la musique en groupe et essaye tous les instruments qui lui passent sous la main, notamment le djembé.
A 25 ans, il organise des concerts et des battles de Breakdance pour une association culturelle dans le centre de la France.
Dans le même temps, avec des amis, ils créent "Merlean" un groupe local de Pop folk, où il chante et joue de la guitare.
C'est à ce moment qu'il écrit des premières compositions.

A 36 ans, après une pause de vie familiale, il renoue avec ces disciplines et s'ouvre notamment à la danse contemporaine et au mélange culturel où il puise ces différentes inspirations.
