Following notable releases from Australian producer DJ Plead and Because Music's mainstay Logic1000, Berlin-based record label Sumac gear up to issue 'Marakame' LP from Viiaan...Our pick is Siete Catorce's remix of 'How To Heal', the quintessential soundtrack for a cyber-psychedelic workout in the middle of deep-rooted Mesoamerican ruins. The track opens with a digital mantra, pulsating with ultra-twisted dancehall rhythms, before evolving into puzzling synth oscillations, FX-laden textures and ambient rainforest recordings. Shanghai/Taipei-based producer Tzusing returns with  一瞬千擊 (In a Moment a Thousand Hits), continuing his exploration of the seamier side of life as his music mutates from industrial and EBM roots into stranger territories. Like the titular martial arts master of his recent LP 東方不敗, who can only achieve invincibility by denying  his own masculinity,  一瞬千擊 asks if obsessive pursuit of a specific identity can only lead to its negation, the opposite of the intended image. Amidst the malevolent throat singing samples, suona-like drones, and occasional shouts and howls in Taiwanese, the music’s slamming percussive weight nods towards the most reviled forms of mainstream dance music. Treating every available tool as valid, Tzusing interrogates taste, constructed identity, and the desire for power through five tracks of destabilized funk and thundering processions.

Emerging for his second release on Infinite Machine following his highly acclaimed 'Regression' EP with Amazondotcom and Superfície, Leeds - based producer Yilan returns for 'Suddenly I Am Falling'.

The title track opens with polyrhythmic kicks, electric hats and cataclysmic atmospheres that are set to send the dancefloor into a frenzy.

'Static Void' is an authentic Techno Dancehall masterclass with a sharp snare dancing around the syncopated pulse of the track.

Collaborating with Ren for third track, 'Niffler', sees the duo lurking into 90BPM territory for an unstoppable groove with razor-sharp percussive brutality and a masterclass in futuristic sound-design that expands across the entire audio spectrum.

Track four, 'Underwater Construction', is a halftime roller with ramped up distorted hits that emanate from an abandoned warehouse, like machinery exhaling.

'AFADS', featuring collaborator Ebb, launches things back into a rolling abyss like a ticking time bomb of kick drums that poke and play around paranoid lazer stabs and an astounding middle section that will leave you gulping in shock.

Closing the record out with an ambient work 'Lost Signals' portrays softer timbres of birdsong and synthesised windchimes, allowing time to reflect on what is one of the most inspiring talents to come out of the UK underground.
