production notes:
This started out with a narrative I wrote for the track about a lone figure that awoke without memory in a cave that appeared to be sentient, and inhabited ravers entranced by strange relics. The usual psychedelic trope stuff. I recorded the vocals myself, and used them to inform the initial arrangement of the track. It became evident that the story would result in a evolving and winding musical expedition. However, my voice really didn't suit it. So I used elevenlabs to generate a new AI version of the vocals - that are used here. Later I stripped most of the vocals out, however the story they informed is now the song.

Each track I make offers new challenges.. here I really wanted to shift genres and sounds a lot. It sounds quite basic, but there's a lot going on here from a bassline that absolutely isn't traditional psytrance (although the base pattern is inspired by "Robotoised" by Quirk), to shifting from saw bass, to square wave, to switching the whole thing up in to a Brazil-inspired shponglised breakdown - considering I had no knowledge of this musical style, let alone how to produce it. However the real challenge was finishing this track. The arrangement has been 'complete' for months now with me tweaking and trying to polish it up enough to release it. 

I also decided to make this a multi-part song. Again, inspired by Shpongle albums where tracks eb and flow between each other. Part 2 of this isn't included here, but I hope I can make it become a full mixed album. Something for later.

The second guest is Karmatrix - A rising star on the Danish scene. 

Kenneth Bodal, better known as Karmatrix is now a well-known name on the Danish scene. An upcoming talent in constant development that repeatedly manages to put together a good mix of progressive and psychedelic trance.

He has previously made remixes to names like Morten Granau & Novotech and is currently working on a lot of new releases, which we will look forward to experiencing February 3rd. Karmatrix is signed in the Danish label Dynamite Recordings stifled by label manager and Dj Joel Rowdy, focusing on upcoming talents.

It is known only a matter of time before Karmatrix puts his mark on the international scene.

one of the most influential Psytrance producers from Israel has arrived at the next level of his musical evolution, breaking new grounds.Fatali has become an international trademark for prime party music since he kick-started his career with a highly acclaimed debut album at the age of only 18. Thanks to an outstanding creative energy he managed to re-invent his style release by release, little by little making a transition from Psytrance to Progressive Trance.The change has been taking place in Eitan Carmi for quite a while: “It took me some time to understand and to decide what I really want to bring back into my sound”, the popular producer explains.A turning point in the course of this consideration is marked by his two gigs at the legendary Tshitraka Festival where he headlined the ‘Progressive-only’ main floor in 2006 and 2007.This was also the beginning of the creative relationship with Blue Tunes Records, the renowned label run by the original promoters of this event. A relationship that eventually established yet another mile stone in Fatali’s long-lasting career:The “Well Come” EP, released in early 2013. Full of rousing offbeat hooks and with a twist of Electro, the tracks still have the highly energetic essence of Fatali. His magical knack for innovative Trance music even made him being invited to Hollywood’s Avalon club where he played in front of 4000 ravers, and made his remix album “Re:Construct” being voted as Best Compilation Of The Month by DJ Mag in 2007.Another EP is already in the pipeline at Blue Tune Records, including cooperation tracks with some leading Progressive Trance colleagues.Also an international release tour has been announced.
