After the successful Illusion of Choice EP which included Chris.SU & State of Mind’s
„Above Earth” - a track made to the top 100 tracks of the year 2014 on Beatport -
FATE Recordings is now back with a brand new EP!
For the title track „Vital Moments” Chris.SU has teamed up with long time partner in
crime Kryptomedic who had a fantastic year in 2015 so far, having released on
Blackout, Virus Recordings and Eatbrain, to name a few, and whom Chris has
previously made the neurofunk anthem „Underground Culture” with. This energetic
tech d&b bombs’ bassline drags you along with itself to be fully sure you remember
the „vital moments” of a party, festival or rave you’ve been dancing at.
Continuing the EP with „Antiserum”, a track with an epic, atmospheric and misterious
intro which builds on Chris’ classical musical background, only to turn out surprisingly
to be a monsterous 2 step roller after the drop with a filty, acid bassline bizness. A
must have in a DJ set to keep up the energy levels high.
The third track „The Universe” is a VIP treatment of Chris’ tune „F.A.T.E.” previously
released on Subtitles Music UK and now has those additional elements he thought
are missing from the original, with a twist of the main bassline riff, plus the mixdown
is adjusted to reach the standards of 2015. Surely a great way to start, continue or
finish a party with a big banger!
Finally, the instrumental version of „Vital Moments” is also included on the EP, for
those who prefer a tune without an MC, or who would like to try mashing it up with
acapellas, or mixing it with other vocal tunes.
The EP enjoys support from a number of A-list DJs including Andy C, Ed Rush,
Friction, Black Sun Empire, DC Breaks, State of Mind, Jade, Mindscape, Nymfo,
A.M.C., to name a few.
