Mideasy is the first of a handful of a fresh new collabs between Mad Zach and yunis slated for release in 2021. The track opens in an almost whimsical way, pulling its backbeat groove together just in time to usher in a more serious first drop. The hook melody, which makes itself known from the beginning, rings of something lost but not forgotten, slippery to pinpoint in its distinct geographic origin or time of creation, yet still familiar. From there layers gather as the mood is elevated to a point of total amicable surrender, rising into a veritable crescendo of mood and frequency.

"This year's gift is called 'Чёрная Магия' ('Black Magic' in English). This time Agbo (Russia) and Nourma (Ukraine) teamed up and made a duppy riddim! Many people have been asking me to make a grimey tune in the Russian language, so I did my best writing bars and creating some voodoo vibes on this tune.
