"The VIP rework of Benton and N-Type's original dancefloor smasher hits the listener even harder than expected. It is a cut that introduces momentum and distant metallic sounding reverberation before transforming into a gully riddim. A sweep clears the air with that all-familiar synthwork Benton still is famous for, a track lead by numerous variations in pitch and several modulation techniques that give texture to the simplistic halfstep percussion sitting up top. All elements sound in place, and are spaced out properly to give the powerful effect of the low end and harsh synth tactics. Momentum strikes before this cut ends; silence followed by a mystical flute that leads in the second drop… The rest is history.
