"Opening the LP, we welcome Clearlight to the label with the track "Cavern Sound." With almost tribal-like vibes, a haunting atmosphere and drums that take you on a journey. Khromi's remix of "Fever Mood" is smooth, jazzy and infused with his own style. Mikrodot's Monastery paves the way into deep sub driven vibes with Tetrad and newcomer, Boneless carrying the vibe into darker and deeper territory. Repulsion's "VRR" takes the mood of the compilation into darker territory as it flips between breakbeats and minimalist influences. Newcomers Buex & No Compli balance floaty textures of atmosphere with jungle influenced breakbeats in their track "Ghosts Of Spice". While Inertia changes the direction of the album with his track "Nobody" featuring a massive, thick reverberating subline with a distorted Reese, it segues nicely into the album closing tracks by Split and NRB finishing out the album on a more aggressive and heavy feeling. This album explores the broad sound on After Dark Music."

Blackleg - www.myspace.com/blacklegdub – polski producent i dj. Przygodę
z muzyką rozpoczął wraz z pojawieniem się w domu pierwszego komputera.
Wychowany na dźwiękach J. M. Jarre’a, Vangelis, M. Bilińskiego
rozbudził w sobie pasję do muzyki elektronicznej. W 1997 roku nastąpił
pierwszy kontakt z muzyką klubową. W jego mieście grano wtedy głownie
minimal oraz detroit. W 1998 roku przyszła pora na drum’n'bass.
Zafascynowany tym gatunkiem zaczął tworzyć pierwsze produkcje na
nieśmiertelnym FastTrackerze. Jako producent starał sie rozwijać swoją
pasję, w 2002 roku zgłosił się do udziału w konkursie dla producentów
muzyki połamanej “Made In Poland” organizowanym przez legendarną
załogę Sonic Trip. Jego utwór “Life Arena” znalazł się w
finałowej dziesiątce. Rok później podczas drugiej edycji konkursu w
finale znalazł sie jego “Monolith”. Utwór ten znalazł się również
na oficjalnej składance “1st Selection of Made In Poland”.
Przygoda z graniem rozpoczęła się w 2002 roku kiedy to wraz z dj.
Magnetic, dj. Exasperem oraz dj. Evilem zaczęli organizować w
Częstochowie imprezy drum’n'bass. W roku 2004 wraz z Magnetic’em, dj.
Peet’em z Łodzi oraz z mc. JBM’em założyli crew Partizans. W
składzie tym grali w Krakowie, Katowicach, Tychach, Tomaszowie
Mazowieckim, Łodzi i innych miastach. Obecnie Blackleg skupia się na
produkcji, w 2007 r. zaczął tworzyć i promować dubstep, w tym gatunku dziś czuje
się najlepiej. Jego utwory wychodzą nakładem 5hz Records, Dubxtenr Rec. Subpressure i Apparition.
