PREMIERE: SLIDER (SL) - Rhyme Waves (M3SIA Remix) [EKABEAT MUSIC]

Last month's juke and zouk bass inspired Harissa EP by Jabo is followed up by this collection of remixes that sit around the 130 mark. First up there is Melbourne boss Lewis CanCut channeling the golden age of UK funky on his version of Harissa. Then Swiss-Rwandan producer Bauchamp reworks Pastilla into a percussive roller that should appeal to club and ballroom heads, afro beats afficionados and the funky massive alike. The label's own DJ Mellow is closing the proceedings with another take on the same track, opting for booming bass music infused with heavily syncopated caribbean swing.

DAWPERS Paris will release on 30th May its  7th release 'Larkz' , the debut EP of Leon Piers, a Bristol based producer who usually releases under the moniker Falcon Lake. With ‘Larkz’, Leon takes a step away from the meloncholic dreamyness of Falcon Lake and gives you a look into the darker, more off-kilter side of his productions. Joining forces on this EP is Border, one of the many guise's for Welsh artist, Bradley Albertides. Border is a paradox of conformity, bending corners with sound design and industrial anarchy.

Nervous Horizon & Marcus Nasty have come together to bring you one of the most awaited UK Funky EPs of the season: Tribal Brothers EP. 

LR Groove and Razzler Man AKA Tribal Brothers have both been producing UK Funky & Tribal House music since 2008 and are considered to be amongst the originators of the genre. 

Marcus Nasty is a true titan of the underground, a tastemaker supreme who works tirelessly to discover new sounds, the David Rodigan of UK Bass. Marcus has championed the burgeoning UK Bass scene, that eclectic blend of house, garage, grime, junglistic ,breakbeats, UK Funky and new forms that don't yet even have a name. 

‘1st step’ has iconic sounds with its powerful bassline and African influenced drums. Its popularity on the dance floors makes ‘1st step’ a must have track for DJ collections. As a merge of house and tribal, ‘Device’ makes its impact on the EP with its rolling drums and complex conga patterns. ‘Bushwacker’ takes you on a percussive journey with non stop African drums and a low end bassline, whereas ‘Renk Dread 2018’ heavily contrasts to this with a striking snare drum and a signature bassline which gave Razzler Man his reputation.
