we could walk into the sun and then i’ll tap you on the shoulder i’ll pretend it wasn’t me and you’ll pretend that I’m funny we could walk into the sun and sit on the grass together i’ll make fun of you but you’re only ever nice to me I know you’re coated in sugar cos I’ve got sweet teeth I’ve only got to walk just a couple little steps until my shadow starts to fade and my body starts to shake I’m taking far too many chances on things I’m not too sure with open ended questions as we’re painting on the floor and your complete lack of emotion seems to lack as much as mine change the colour of your hair now everything is fine and although nothing seems to matter when the summer sun is here i’ll see you every now and then or two weeks every year we could walk into the sun and i’ll tap you on the shoulder maybe I should act my age but I don’t feel no older and if being lazy was a crime I’m sure we’d both go down but prison is no place for a princess with a broken crown I’ve got sweet teeth
