The original mix of “Remember When” is all about the vocal that will keep you hypnotically glued to the dance floor for quite some time. The clever structured groove and bass programming build a firm musical structure and the abstract chords provide the right amount of energy.

Patrick Podage from Switzerland transforms snippets of the original melody into a moody Marimba pattern. Crystal clear percussion fitted on top of the room-filling bassline and added melody parts make Patrick’s mix a great addition to an already monstrous track.

Henry Saiz must be one of the most brilliant producers on the worldwide electronic scene. The remixes come from two heavy weights on the melodic electronic scene such as Rodriguez Jr. and Eelke Kleijn who have delivered their own re-interpretation of this masterpiece. Swiss duo Fat Sushi is currently making its trademark on the underground clubland by releasing tracks and remixes on some of the most respected labels in the game: Suara, Einmusika, Katermukke, Steyoyoke or Hive Audio to name a few. Being in the industry for almost two decades before the peculiarly named pairing decided to join forces in 2013, you can hear the inspiration of various musical styles in their productions: heavy basslines, uplifting melodies and carefully chosen vocals – from deep house to techno spectrum.

With gigs all over Europe and the US, the past few months have been pretty hectic for the Zurich based guys.
