Originally drafted as a trio and hailing from Haumoana, Mahora and Bridge Pa. Brute Force a simple mission statement... "Get Hawkes Bay bumping our music, and if they don't listen... take their attention by Brute Force!" and thus our name was breathed into existence. Using a mix of more aggressive, street style spitting for the verses and harmonic vocals for the hook this became our signature sound. Soon expanding to introduce 2 younger, hungry and supremely talented emcees and the baddest dj on the planet; our influence started to reach wider and once we combined with more of our hawkes bay brothers from the 0h6... well im sure most have heard the sound that resulted. All writing, production and vocal arrangements were done in house and something we always took pride in
