It's quite rare to view stars in a big city like Seattle.  Most of the time, I have to leave the city and go camping somewhere just to see the bright stars in the sky.  I love taking a long drive out into the middle of Washington; long drives out into the boonies to camp....I say it wouldn't be a Pacific Northwest summer without a weekend camping, staring at the stars. I find I get filled with inspiration when I stare up into space..... 

It seems I'm not alone in that either. Meet Dario Klein. Him and I got acquainted through the internet (shocker) and through releasing downtempo music on certain labels. I became quite a fan of his sound,  and soon we were sharing tunes back and forth. One day he asked me if I would be interested in remixing a song off his new EP with the Vienna vermin at Heimlich Musik ;) I quite enjoyed working on that remix, and soon, I found myself asking him if he'd share some of his sounds with a guest mix..... and now, it's time we all get LOST on a Space Ride!

Here's Dario:  "i just go with the flow, no matter if I'm djing or producing. I wanted to create a good soundtrack for a trip or road trip or anything, because the tracks are rolling so hard, so no matter if listeners sit at home and do a mind trip, or in a vehicle going somewhere, i think they can use it to get lost on the ride.  I'm also doing a lot of productions these days, after covid stopped me from being a touring musician. Last year I went from Berlin to Istanbul and then Marrakesh where I got stuck in curfew, but had the time of my life recording with my friends.  I think it's really important to capture your feelings in some way. It's good I find the time to feel free and just play what I feel. That's how I get lost on a space ride!"

Ein neues Jahr beginnt und wir starten mit der 112 in 2023. Wir freuen uns auf die musikalische Reise von Maximilian Wehner alias WAYHNA, der frisch nach Berlin gezogen ist.

Seit über 10 Jahren schon am sammeln feinster Klänge. Quasi alle elektronisches Genres einmal durchlebt, zeichnen sich seine Sets heute durch organische, teils aber auch sehr verspulte Töne aus. Früher hauptsächlich im Bereich der 100bpm unterwegs gewesen, hat er sich mittlerweile zwischen 100-120 festgespielt – oder nennen wir es lieber eingegrooved!

Seine Sets sind immer eine spontane Entwicklung, die durch die Menschen vor Ort entstehen und somit den Moment, wie er ihn wahrnimmt, am besten beschreiben. 
So ist auch dieser Mix ums neue Jahr rum entstanden, den er mit langjährigen Freunden teilen durfte.

Vielleicht weckt ja der ein oder andere Track bei euch nochmal ein paar Sommererinnerungen und lässt euch somit entspannter durch den mellow Januar wandern.

In 2020 the Seaside Trip presents you »the untold stories of the sinking sea!« and this is the 5th story of it. The story of our number 127 is about a child and his dream. This child is now a young man who was born 37 years ago in the mountains of Romania, in Transylvania. A few years later, his grandparents took him to the sea and there, on the beach of the Black Sea, the child began to dream. He felt wonderfully comfortable by the sea, it felt like coming home to him and so he really enjoyed spending time with his grandparents there. The years flew by, but the desire - the longing - the dream of living by the seaside never passed. In the game of the tides Adrian met our captain about 4 years ago and was enthusiastic about his music and the seaside trip. So some months later https://soundcloud.com/olandson created an exclusive mix for him which he called "Music has a Message" - that was 3 years and 3 months ago. They also agreed to the deal that Adrian would one day send him a mix. Dear friends, this day has come today: Through the request, the inner child in this man has become aware that he is living his dream. The Black Sea has become the Atlantic Ocean, Transylvania has become Miami and many of you are probably know that child, that man under the name https://soundcloud.com/magicianonduty . with his mix he comes back to the beach where he spent his childhood with his grandparents.
