Gute Nachrichten, schlechte Nachrichten, tausende am Tag. Manchmal ist alles zu viel, und wir suchen Ablenkung, tauchen in den Schmerz ein oder tauchen in unserer kleinen Welt unter. Mich nimmt das aktuelle Weltgeschehen sehr mit, und ich wollte einen Set kreieren, der bewegend ist - aber auch einfach gute Laune macht.
Ich hoffe, Menschen und Tiere genießen diesen Winterspecial für die dunklen Tage - ein wenig lustig, ein wenig melancholisch - damit man mal lächelt, mal ein Tränchen verliert, mal die Hüfte schwingt und sich auch mal hinlegt und alles hinterfragt. Vielen Dank für die Einladung liebe Faultiere :)"

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

@jan_ludentwiete reached out to us and the recording that he send us was exactly the kind of journey we had in mind when we thought of the cuddle cast series.

it was so fulfilling and exciting and easy and natural to play the opening on this packed sunday night and it amazes me how right from the beginning people are all vibing, smiling, dancing, grooving, letting go. i am sooo thankful to get invited back over again and how welcoming an appreciative of the music all the wonderful people on the dancefloor are 🙏 already excited to be back march 30th 😻

"das lateinische wort alucinari bedeutet „im geiste wandern“ - nicht dass ich latein könnte, ich habe das bloß abgeschrieben. aber im grunde geht es in diesem set genau darum. hypnotisch nach vorne stolpern, beginnend im städtischen raum und dann irgendwie versuchen dahin zu kommen, wo wir uns nicht auskennen und niemanden mehr verstehen. das licht verändert sich, das grün wird satter, die wolken schieben sich den berg hinauf und wir werden ruhiger.
