Ancestral Process is an independent techno music label based in Paris, France, founded by passionate in 2020.

Since then, Ancestral Process wants to promote the essence of deep, hypnotic and atmospheric sounds with worked structures, fine elements and deep sonorities.

The fundamental purpose of the label is to perpetuate the electronic music culture by accompanying artists to develop their talents and hypnotism faculties.

Originally from Chile, Cristoned is a young emerging artist on the South American stage.
At his beginning dj in rave for several years, @cristoneddj started production two years ago.

And when he presented us his different compositions, we were very pleasantly surprised by the richness and the singularity of his musical universe.
Although very inspired by artists such as Ben Clock, Oscar Mulero, Remco Beekwilder and Richie Hawtin, the young producer manages to compose a techno with sci-fi sounds, with a lot of percussions and very dense agtmospheres. Thus forming a brutal but deep techno.

I guess they took down all their mixes, so I uploaded my favorite mix I made last year for Mothers Finest. You can download it until Jan. 1, 2023. 

I wanted this mix to express the emotional arc of the last few years, from the hopefulness of the first days of a new year in 2020, to the outbreak of Covid, the loneliness of lockdowns, the hope again with vaccines, the frustration with continuous waves of sickness and death, poor decisionmaking from world leaders, and eventually just the hope that maybe we can hold on to those we love and find some joy in the midst of the madness and anxiety.

Two decades and a name change later, she is at the top of her techno game. Mixmag named her one of 2017’s Top 20 Breakthrough DJs. She owned a packed and sweaty Boiler Room during Movement Detroit, turned in mindblowing mixes for Slam Radio, Discwoman, and Resident Advisor, and quaked some of the world’s most respected dance floors like Smartbar Chicago, Amsterdam’s DeSchool, Concrete in Paris, and Berlin’s legendary Berghain. 

Her festival appearances include Unsound, Red Bull Music Festival Paris, Movement Detroit, and While United Queer Festival. Her releases and remixes on labels like Valence, Argot, Flash, and Dark Entries have pounded sound systems worldwide. At her core, she is a die-hard techno fan with a deep love for music and a drive to continue honing her craft as a DJ and producer in order to share her favorite music with people on dance floors everywhere.

In 2023, she is launching her own label called Giant Arm, which features her signature style of raw, uncompromising techno.
