Following the sad passing of DJ and early house producer eLBee BaD AKA The Prince of Dance Music, to celebrate the impact of his life and music we asked friend and member of his Berlin family, DJ KILLA to piece together a mix of material that traces his prolific output.

This sits alongside a written homage to their friendship and L.B's curiosity, openness and humility as a producer and a person.

ML's worldly sets are prepared spontaneously, marrying avant-electronics with foretime chants, odd dance emotions, man-made minimal tones, psychedelic fuzz and some neon light jazz. With this special release lekande presents another side of the Row Records sound. His debut on the label focuses on an interplay of spheres and textures. At hadjuk studios lekande created two pieces with sci fi structures and lo fi sounds: damaged tape loops, swirling drums and layered synths go slightly ahead with strange field recordings. The result cumulates in a multicolored listening experience - on floor and on headphones. Both tracks are closely connected to lekandes further releases on solid rotation and glenn dancer but especially for Row he searched for a way to shape a sound represents a strong connection between art and nature. Remixes by Lowtec and Kaep & Bhed use their individual perspectives to reinforce this concept.
