Mike Gushansky is ubiquitously known in the LA underground scene as the co-creator of the party Redline LA, a massive network of warehouse parties that have featured the likes of Antal, Hunee, and Marcellus Pittman. His mixes are two sides of the same coin, feeling incredibly intimate while at the same time able to carry a crowded warehouse of after hour ravers to euphoric heights.

Outside of LA you can also find Mike playing in the SF club scene as an As You Like It resident or at a number of other parties that he speak to his roots in the Bay Area.

One of the fascinating creatures that our Planet houses is the ever-elusive Sassmouth. Fortunately, the Planet Chicago recording crew caught some sounds from her natural habitat, and we just finished listening to the entire Sassmouth ‘Collected Mixes’ and ‘Selected Productions.   

As of her ‘god particle’ label launch in early 2013, and ‘Planet Chicago’ club night launch at the legendary ‘Smartbar’ in early 2014 where she continues her Chicago residency, one can say that she is quite simply the inimitable nature/wildlife/DJ/producer. Following the similarly paramount achievement of being enlisted as a resident for the San Francisco based ‘As You Like It’ production group in early 2013, this colossal cephalopod continued to so sensibly organize each and every impromptu mix whilst covering specific genre regions and/or habitats (deep oceans, techno, Great Lakes, house, shallow seas, electro, urban rivers, experimental, etc.) until the entire Planet was magnificently represented by the most astonishing sounds you've ever experienced from the comforts of home, club, or NBFC underground party.

William is a Bay Area DJ who has worked with As You Like It since 2010. He maintained a residency ExYo at Wish in San Francisco and at Zughaus Gallery in Berkeley. His inviting take on dance music explores deeper, melodic sounds with an appreciation for unpredictable rhythms and plenty of bass. He has played for many favorite local crews beyond AYLI, including In·sight, Direct to Earth, Housepitality, The Boombox Affair, Rare Form, Forward, Werd, Qoöl, Bubble, SET, and Sound Department. Some of William's highlights include warming up for Ripperton, Max Cooper, John Tejada, Marcus Worgull, Maayan Nidam & Konrad Black, Henry Saiz, Matthew Dekay & Silicone Soul, Sishi Rösch, and Tiger & Woods. William's exposure to world-class dance music started while studying abroad in London and attending events at Fabric nearly every weekend. Getting lost in that all-encompassing environment put the sounds into context. Kontrol parties, Sunset Sundays, and unlicensed undergrounds are key influences. William's respect for the local scene pushes him to discover new music and share the sounds he loves.
