Formed in 2014 and based in Kraków, Spółdzielnia Muzyczna contemporary ensemble has since been bringing the most important and interesting of modern classical music to local and national audiences, as well as presenting Poland’s new music to those listening in abroad. Besides taking part in and performing at such events as Darmstadt’s Ferienkurse für Neue Musik, Ensemble Akademie Freiburg with ensemble recherche, Warsaw Autumn and Sacrum Profanum, we educate locally in the field of contemporary classical and pursue such activities as themed collective improvisation or setting live music to silent films.

Do czynnego udziału i koncertowania w ramach takich wydarzeń jak Letnie Kursy Muzyki Nowej w Darmstadt, kursy mistrzowskie z ensemble recherche we Freiburgu, Warszawska Jesień czy Sacrum Profanum dochodzi działalność edukacyjna zespołu na polu muzyki najnowszej, a także improwizacja i udźwiękawianie projekcji filmów niemych.

Bohdan Sehin was born in 1976 in Western Ukraine.
Composer, manager of contemporary music projects, Bohdan Sehin graduated from the Lviv Lysenko National Music Academy, and has studied composition with Myroslav Skoryk. He took compositional advice from Oleksandr Shchetynsky, Jeff Beer, Arvo Pärt, Beat Furrer and Yuval Shaked. He has been a two-time participant (2003, 2006) in the Gaude Polonia scholarship program sponsored by the Polish Ministry of Culture and has studied composition with Zbigniew Bujarski in Krakow and Zygmunt Krauze in Warsaw; a scholarship recipient of the Warsaw Autumn Friends Foundation (2003); and a Gulliver Connect (2008), and Ukrainian Presidential (2008-2010) grant recipient. He has composed works commissioned by Institute of Music and Dance (Poland), Polish Institute in Kyiv. Deutsche Welle (Germany), received a scholarship of Andrzej Szczypiorski's Association of Support for Creative Arts of the Association of Authors ZAiKS (Poland).
Multiple awards for both composition and theatrical work in Ukraine and Poland. Featuring symphonic, choral, and chamber works, as well as music for theatrical productions, Sehin’s work has been performed for audiences in Belarus, Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Poland, France, Switzerland, Germany, China and certainly in Ukraine. Sehin is a member of the Ukrainian National Composers Union with broad experience in arts-festival management, including the Contrasts International Festival of Contemporary Music (Lviv, 1998-2006), Velvet Curtain (Lviv, 2006), Kyiv Music Fest (Kyiv, 2009), and the International Music of Youth Forum (Kyiv, 2009, 2011, 2013).
Beginning in 2009, Bohdan has worked on a number of projects in Ukraine. 2009 was also the year when he began coordinating projects for the Ensemble Nostri Temporis, becoming its director the following year. Founder and artistic director of the first in Ukraine the International Master Classes of New Music COURSE (taking place every year since 2012) and Ukrainian Biennale for New Music. From 2012 he is the Commercial Director of development of new music in Lviv National Philharmonic Society and Art Director of the Contrasts International Festival of Contemporary Music. In 2019, he launched a concert series Pro et Contra. A New Music Scene at the Lviv National Philharmonic Society.

Parsa Zandi – Persian Composer (b. 2004, Tehran, Iran)



Parsa is deeply drawn to the expressive potential of microtonality, blending delicate melodies with rich textures. Intuition and emotion play a central role in his music, guiding a natural balance between structure and expressivity. He strives to create an immersive musical experience where melody and atmosphere come together with sincerity and depth.

He studied composition with Mohammad H. Javaheri and Karen Keyhani in Iran. Parsa later studied composition with Beat Furrer and is now continuing his studies under the supervision of Annesley Black. He was also an Erasmus student at the University of the Arts Berlin (UDK).

Parsa Zandi has had lessons with notable composers such as Chaya Czernowin, Franck Bedrossian, Iris ter Schiphorst, Johannes Maria Staud, Klaus Lang, Mark Andre, Mathias Hinke, Pierluigi Billone, Samir Odeh Tamimi, Clemens Gadenstätter, and Artur Kroschel.

Parsa Zandi's compositions have been performed in several countries, including Austria, Canada, Germany, Iran, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, the USA, Poland, and others. His works have been featured in festivals and programs such as Open Call Nodus 2022, Residencia Artística en Les Coves de Vinromà 2022, FestMus 2023 Castello, ICCS Young Talents 2023, Roadrunner Academy 2024, ClarinetFest 2024 in Dublin, Brass Academy Musikfabrik 2025, In Situ Graz, and the 54th International Contemporary Music Festival Poznań Musical Spring 2025.

His compositions have been performed by renowned ensembles including Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Musikfabrik, Ensemble Zeitfluss, Ensemble für Neue Musik Graz, Sepia Ensemble, CSMC Brass Band & Contemporary Ensemble, and the Roadrunner Trio. Additionally, musicians like Thomas Piercy, Elena Arbonies Jauregui, Kathryn Vetter, Mario Porcar Rueda, and others have collaborated with him.
