Ariane V is a selector on the rise. Igniting dancefloors across Europe, her reputation continues to gain prominence as her sound becomes ever-more assured. Whether dialing it up at peak-time with breaks and acid cuts, or locking in for a heads-down ride, Ariane’s selections are rooted in a deep sense of groove. Emotive house cuts give way to driving prog, punctuated by leftfield disco, glistening italo and big piano moments. It’s all laid down with a joyful appreciation of and profound connection to the music.

Speaking about her mix Ariane V says: “I went for lots of 80s inspired club tracks, plenty of acid, some jackin house, chicago house, and a couple tracks from my upcoming compilation on Nervous Records. Driving, mid tempo, where I feel the most comfortable”

Mix number 555. How did we get here? Well this one is pretty great we have to say... Eden Burns hails from the deep south of Aotearoa/New Zealand. He make brilliant club music that lands in that perfect spot between melodic and groove and he seems to do it really really easily. He's released on quite a few labels but in recent times his main output is via the Public Possession label where he releases his Big Beat Manifesto project and also alongside Tubbs in another project they have rolling. His DJing does what his records do which is mix up the groove with the odd curveball you weren't expecting. Enjoy the mix.

Repping the Balearic sound over there in Seoul, Tucan Discos ( @jae-zae) has been behind some of our favourite edits of recent years. With a knack for finding gloriously kitch gems from the '80s and early '90s, he can always be relied on for cutting away the excess fat and cheese and turning us on to some lesser known beauts. Pianos, organs, breakbeats, sensual vocals and even a little Stone Roses go into this deliciously feel-good mix.
