As many of you know, the pandemic hit just before our 9-year anniversary celebration in March of last year. We're still here and waiting patiently for that moment when we can dance together again in person. In the meantime, this month marks the 10 year anniversary of Ron Like Hell & Ryan Smith kicking off Wrecked. We didn't want to pass on the opportunity to celebrate all the good times had with each other over the years. On March 20th - which also happens to be the Spring Equinox - we took over The Lot Radio for a 4 hour livestream. This mix is here for you. As one of the founding members of Fog City Pack, resident of San Francisco's monthly disco party DAD, and newest resident of one of SF’s longest running fetish nights, Stank, Joe Weidman (a.k.a. Jumpr) has spent the last several years striving to create unique, inclusive, exciting experiences for the SF queer and leather communities not just as a DJ but also as the Creative Director of Fog City Pack. He prides himself on being a dance floor filler, agnostic of genre, spinning everything from sweaty bathhouse disco to throbbing techno bangers. Jumpr wants to bring the rush and keep the energy ecstatic.

This mix is downright chunky-thick with it's build of heavy bass intertwined with 80's new wave selections. It lands as well crafted with basslines nicely pairing between tracks-a moment to breathe before the next chapter of seedy, bouncing rhythm. The reflection of community support Jumpr provides is evident with this sound- while not easily defined in sound per-say, it's certainly felt through every layer of latex, leather, and mesh from listeners.

Recording a mix at home is a struggle for me. No beautiful dancers, no lights and no energy exchange can be a hindrance. I’m so thankful this moment was captured live to share with all of you. One deficit all artists have is developing their craft in front of the public eye (and ears). Being a recovering perfectionist also adds to the struggle. Everything you do is analyzed and judged. With a live mix there’s no take 2 and no do-overs. You’re completely naked and vulnerable. I’m slowly learning to welcome the flaws in the things I create and embrace the process.
I hope this set stirs something  inside of you as it did with me when it was recorded. It’s full of all of my favorite things in music and I hope it finds you tapping your foot or shaking your backside.

March FEVER was also special because for the first time we partnered with local artist, Ron Abram for the ad design and now mix cover art. The illustration shown is entitled Detail, Wrangler Series of Etchings, 2023. You’ll be seeing more of Ron’s work with future collabs. Until then follow him on IG @abramgrafiks.

De 2016 a 2020, dirigió Visceral, una plataforma underground con sede en Cambridge, Massachusetts; , que acogió talentos progresistas de diferentes partes del mundo y promovió la inclusión radical de POC/LGBTQ+ y espacios seguros.

Desde que se mudó a Broolyn, NY en 2021, Manu ha tocado en Honcho Campout 2021, Good Room NYC en la fiesta de clausura de Carry Nation en 2021, el Club Toilet, Function, Wrecked, The Lot Radio y Renate en Berlín.

Hailing from San Francisco, Joe Weidman (aka Jumpr) has been a staple of SF nightlife since 2016. He got his start in the leather scene as the creative director for Fog City Pack before jumping behind the decks himself in 2018. Since then, Jumpr has maintained residencies with disco crew, DAD SF, and Stank, one of SF’s longest running fetish nights. In 2023, he launched Synthia, a party that celebrates the queer sci-fi futurism of the 1970s & 80s with an emphasis on vintage synths & space disco. Jumpr prides himself on being a dance floor filler, agnostic of genre, spinning everything from sweaty bathhouse disco to throbbing techno bangers. Jumpr wants to bring the rush and keep the energy ecstatic.
