A Dreamer & a Burner

Special K (Mohammed Kamal - 1985) born and raised in Lattakia, Syria only moving to to Dubai in 2011. He has played a major rule in the underground scene in the region from initiating the very first musical gatherings of their kind in Syria in 2003 and bringing it all the way to Dubai in 2013 by Co-founding (Desert Dream Community). This community was inspired by the burning man and other festivals of its kind. He carried out this vision deep in the desert away from the hustle and bustle of the city and in between the dunes. With time he became the key player in the city focused on electronic music festivals, he created and collaborated with most successful festivals (Desert Dream - Elements - Kaynouna- Eunoia- Sandance..... etc.) around Middle East (UAE - Lebanon- Egypt - Jordan - Turkey - KSA - India)

Musically, Special K has always been a pioneer searching and spreading knowledge of the most innovative trends on electronic music, applying a meticulous musical choice on his sets, crossing styles of House and Techno music, traveling from Oriental / Downtempo, Organic house to Progressive/ Melodic rhythm cause he goes with the flow and has on occasion gone on to play for 24hrs straight, although always with surprising with a complex musical selection. Very rhythmic, full of groove and energy.

He mostly performed during events/ festivals which he either created from the ground up or participated in to assist the organizers. He preferred to be behind the scene which helped him be more creative till the pandemic (Covid-19) showed up , so he is one of the 1st who started live streaming through Desert Dream channel along with most talented local & international Djs.
From that day he decided to adapt and share his talent with the world, so he complete what he use to do with Desert Dream ( talent’s hunter ) and found Trinity Festival along with Hot Air Balloon festival & Yalla Festival which already did few trial and ready to be published once the restrictions are gone. 
He streamed for many entities for a human rights, Africa Children. As he did some live streams for HAB festival from the sky (Hot air balloon), Cafe De Anatolia from the desert and working on a projects.

Yaku means water in the Quechua indigenous language, in Japan it’s associated with loyalty and honor and for this creator, it represents the ability to flow with the waves that music, love and life produce, as he moves through the planet and connect with people.

Yaku, is DJ, music producer & creator. In 2013 he created the label Die feine Mukke & Musicalidosa, and in 2015 he performed at Burning Man Festival, in USA. 

Since then he began to walk a musical path in which speed and organic sounds are the way how he creates stories that make his listeners travel through an ethnic, tribal and shamanic amalgam. His live shows and music creations are recognized for the synesthesia and eclecticism he creates to develop a healing atmosphere for the spirit to dance.

Yaku significa agua en la lengua indígena Quechua, en Japón es sinónimo de lealtad y honor y para este creador, representa la capacidad de fluir por el planeta junto al público y las ondas que produce la música, el amor y la vida.

Yaku, es Dj, productor musical y creador. En 2013 creó el sello y colectivo de artistas Die feine Mukke [Musicalidosa] y en el año 2015 se presentó en el Festival Burning Man, en USA.

Desde entonces comenzó a caminar un sendero musical en el que la velocidad y los sonidos orgánicos, son la forma cómo en sus shows en vivo crea historias que hacen viajar a sus oyentes por una amalgama étnica, tribal y chamánica. Sus sets y música son reconocidos por la sinestesia y eclecticismo con los que crea atmósferas hipnóticas y sanadoras para el espíritu a través del baile y la danza.

 Shayan  aka Shan Nash Born in Balochestan / IRAN. Shan Nash’s collective music, part self-produced, captivating other-worldly sounds, part extended live performances that transport audiences to the most majestic and dreamy lands across the globe is the raconteur of his life’s journey. A producer and DJ, Shan embodies the intrinsic characteristics of a true artist: passion, love, empathy and the desire to connect every soul through his calling. A native of Iran, a place that still holds his heart yet sought to persecute him for his very deep devotion to music and artistry, Shan’s drawn to the sounds of the East, a signature mark embedded in his art.
Since leaving Tehran, a city that embraced his sounds in its deep underground, Shan has found himself in L.A. via Istanbul, where he further developed his musical skills.
 Aside his monthly residency, Shan continues to cast his musical spells across the world through his long-format sets, while continuing to add to his collection of remixes and productions
