Big UpState is an Ithaca based band that plays high energy original reggae music. We have a passion for music and an affinity for the stuff that makes you want to get up and dance! Expect large servings of reggae infused with flavors of soul, funk, rock, electro, and maybe even a little country if you're lucky! Big UpState is fronted by the talented Trevor Thorpe on uke, Crazy Cappelli on low-end theory, Luke DubWalker on vegan ramen noodles, "Shaybudda" Shay on bucket slammin', and Nick on banging and bubbling. As a band Big UpState has one common goal: melting faces and booty shakin' (that's two).
