Big news at Fckng Serious! The founding father of our beloved label, Boris Brejcha, returns to his roots after his time at Ultra Music and releases on his own label Fckng Serious.
On June 10, after a 4-year hiatus, his first original single will be released on the label he founded in 2015. In the meantime, he still contributed remixes for his label colleagues Moritz Hofbauer and Theydream. For the new single, he picked two songs that many fans have been waiting for a very long time.
"Up Down Jumper" and "Keep Rollin" are two of the tracks Boris currently plays at every gig. Tomorrowland (Belgium), EDC Las Vegas (United States), Kappa Futur (France), Ushuaia (Spain) at his own shows around the world and currently on his tour through Colombia, Peru, Brazil and the USA, these tracks are an important part of his show. Of course, the two tracks were also part of his latest livestream for Cercle live from the arena in Nimes.
Musically, we can expect a lot from this release. The title track "Up Down Jumper" is a classic Boris track and has 100% Joker sound. "Keep Rollin" also stamps its mark on every electro fan with its exciting break and driving sequences.
Fckng Serious is very happy about his return and solemnly welcomes (back) the Master of High-Tech-Minimal.

The Label Highlight Of The Year! With the album "In A Blurry World," Moritz Hofbauer not only showcases his exceptional musical talent but also takes his live performance to the next level!
Today, Moritz Hofbauer releases his debut album "In A Blurry World," consisting of 12 tracks ranging from Melodic House to Techno. Since December 2020, the 25-year-old Mannheim native has been an integral part of the Fckng Serious Crew, quickly evolving from a newcomer to an established musician among label peers like Boris Brejcha, Ann Clue, and Deniz Bul.
Over the past three years, Moritz made an impressive start with the Fckng Serious label. In addition to numerous releases and a remix of Boris Brejcha's legendary track "Purple Noise," Moritz Hofbauer has already performed live on international stages worldwide.
Now, Moritz Hofbauer is taking the next step: His debut album "In a Blurry World" is out now on Fckng Serious.
With this musical highlight, Moritz describes the concept that the modern world is often perceived as blurry, confusing, and subjectively different. Everyone develops their own reality and integrates it into a complex and fast-paced society.
The 12 unique tracks offer a blend of Techno beats and melodic vocals, making the songs suitable for both the club and a deeper emotional experience. Moritz, the producer from Mannheim, says, "I made all the songs on this album during this year and the one before. For me, emotions and melodies are what truly matter in music. They're my main focus. I also really like some melancholy in music."

I immediately fell in love with the original and its natural, emotional voyage. The remix became a journey of stripping it back and figuring out how to stay true to this whilst capturing it in a much darker light. I've been inspired by Techno and 5am sweatboxes for a while now and this remix was the perfect opportunity for me to try strike a balance between the grit I love and deeper emotion... Personally I'd say this marks a turning point in my music and getting lost in the stems definitely played a huge part. Hope you enjoy! <3

The Virgo label boss Ilario Alicante presents the first in a series of
collaboration EP's with many recognised artists of the Electronic music scene.

The first episode consists of two collab-tracks with Kevin De Vries, who is well known for his releases on Afterlife. The track “Dystopia” merges a driving bass-synth line with mysterious melodies, the second is “Lotus” recognised with retro-wave arpeggios and pads, orchestrated by a refined techno groove making a unique adrenaline rush.

Kevin himself includes two of his own solo-tracks, including the noteworthy “Dragon of Eden”, that is already known in many of Ilario’s DJ sets. The track takes the listener on a voyage through charming melodies accompanied by the unmistakable groove of the Berlin-based artist.

Making his label debut last year with ‘S.Y.L.’, Anjunadeep welcomes back renowned Spanish producer, DJ and label owner Edu Imbernon for his double-cut ‘Rinascimento / Flag Dance’.

 An influential figure in the European house and techno scene over the past decade, Edu has topped the Beatport charts and won consistent support from the likes of Pete Tong, Maceo Plex, Sasha and Seth Troxler. In addition to heading up his own label Fayer, Edu has held down numerous residencies around the world, including Space Ibiza and Watergate Berlin.

‘Rinascimento’ leads with a hypnotic vocal accompanied by a driving drumbeat whilst ‘Flag Dance’ features an echoing vocal sample alongside a grooving bassline and metallic synths. Imbernon’s latest showcases his emotive, melodic sound with two standout tracks.

After appearing for the first time on Odd Echoes 4, Moonwalk the Milan-based DJs and producers present us their debut EP on the label, a three original melodic and energetic cuts, with a fantastic and powerful remix by the Italian duo Undercatt.

The Neapolitan duo, Dario and Mauro, start the EP with the lead track ¨Solaris¨ a rolling and grooving cut, with a haunting and catchy melody that stays in your mind right away.

On the remix duties we have another Italian duo, Undercatt. They approach the rework with their characteristic elements and sound design, turning the version into a deeper and melodic cut.

To continue with the EP, we have ¨Enigma¨, which aims more to dance floor peak time, with elements of Indie Disco influenced percussions. On the same vibe to close the pack we have ¨Delta¨, where you can also recognize the duo’s signature sound.
