STRiCKLAND is a new name to look out for this year, the London based DJ/Producer has already gained attention from the likes of Steve Lawler, Santé, Weiss and Nicole Moudaber. Having already toured across the UK, Europe and Asia this year he’s evolved a new sound that he unleashed earlier this year remixing Pandora Drive’s ‘Unoriginal Sin’.

The title track from this EP ‘Landor’ found it’s way into Steve Lawler’s Rekordbox back in May,  becoming a secret weapon for the festivals that has been causing a stir in his sets world wide. It follows that Steve asked to hear more material culminating in the collation of the three tracks that comprise this release.

‘Landor’ is a hypnotic builder with an infectious arp line over a thumping low end and verby organ pads, upon listening it is easy to see why Steve hailed it as a bomb for the festivals. Next up ‘Say What?’ is a hard hitting chunky club affair with relentless percussion and a bassline that takes no prisoners. ‘Revolver’ completes the package on a groovy tip, employing a reverb drenched synths and soulful vocal snippets to counterpoint the sizzling percussion and bring the EP to a conclusion.

For Sezer Uysal, finding the right touch is more instinctual than voluntary. With half a dozen remixes and original productions reaching Beatport’s coveted Top 100 Progressive House, Tech House, and Deep House charts, his ability in the studio has garnered attention from some of the most renowned titans of the industry.But it’s all just the beginning for the young 28 year-old. With upcoming originals and remixes on Suara, Hope Recordings and his own Sensorium Music, combined with festival and club dates across Europe and Asia, Sezer Uysal finds himself on the eve of worldwide ascendancy.

In 2010 his successful track “Singing In The Bathtub”, which reached the 1st position of Beatport’s Deep House Chart for 3 months and main Beatport’s Top 100 chart for weeks. Also his remix for Steve Duda stayed at Beatport’s Top Prog 10 for some weeks. His debut 'Space & Fears' on Suara reached 35th position at techno charts. Also his collabration track “Cyngus” with The Big Cat Coyu is just reached to 18th position on beatport tech house charts.

One of the most technically gifted DJs and producers in Dublin returns, as Collie provides us with the 104th edition of our Local Selection Mix series. 

Collie is back at the Four Four Local Selection hot seat, as the Dublin DJ records an extra special 90's progressive house mix, recorded on nothing but his beloved 1210's and classic vinyl collection.

As part of the Illicit crew, Collie has gained the reputation in Dublin and further afield for being a highly skilled vinyl DJ and avid collector of all things wax. What starting off at a young age with the guidance of his father, Collie has gone on to be no stranger to a set of decks. With this long history of Djing and musical education, it has given him time to craft his organic house sound, along with his admiration for certain eras of  house music and genres, which has become a part of Collie's productions and sounds for many years.

After her last great EP "Faith" the German techno artist returns with a new EP. "Fallin" contains two cool tracks which, of course, were created during the lockdown. With theatrical, almost tragic elements and sounds offering confidence she catches up her emotional "fall" during the performance-free period. Melodious passages and powerful bass show the musical talent of the artist, who is signed to Fckng Serious, in a wonderful way. 

„Fräulein Smilla“ also leaves nothing to be desired. The experienced DJ and producer brings out the dreamy and deeper side of herself in this track.

And as if that wasn't enough, her equally well-known DJ friend Giorgia Angiuli and a musician friend contribute a remix to the title track "Fallin". Giorgia and producer SQU4RE create a harder and more daring version of the track. 

We are looking forward to hearing all three tracks hopefully soon on the dancefloors of the world.
