Deftly merging her background in sound design with techno and its real world applications, Toxido Mask is a shadowy DJ/Producer who calls Berlin home and has been challenging the fringe of her craft for over a decade. Her fastidious selections and skill on the decks are nothing short of legendary, providing experiences that rumble and vibrate with mystical power, characterised by a raw intensity and fragile balance between ‘harmony and disharmony, clarity and distortion’, a testament to the transformative nature of the genre and her keen understanding of it. She’s a Tresor resident and curator of the OMM Transmission Podcast and party series, an outlet for further explorations into the murky world of this defiant sound. Productions too have offered a glimpse into the shifting sands of her percussive mayhem with releases on Semantica Records, Aneelhi and Pregnant Void. Toxido’s paradigm has found form wherever possible and proven her singular vision can constantly change and provoke. Bassiani Podcast 274 is a dose of primal techno that radiates and consumes its listener, expansive and potent beats from a formidable talent.

Belarus-born, Yerevan-based multi-genre DJ and vinyl collector Ilona Gross endlessly loves minimal in all its glory — as well as broken beats and ’90s music.
After many years of moving with the music from the crowd, she stepped behind the decks in 2022, co-founding the independent communities Scapes Sound and less.inc.
Her sets reflect a curious and deeply personal approach — she’s always digging for rare gems, limited pressings, and unexpected grooves on small labels.
Ilona has collaborated with Vamonos Records, KOF Project (Istanbul), KRIES LABEL (Berlin), Raskat Movement (Tbilisi), PRLcast (Minsk), NOTYOURTYPE (Bulgaria), Bohemnots Radio (Armenia), and others.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Positive Centre + Tullia Benedicta on In Silent Series X. Created by label head Positive Centre, In Silent Series X brings a huge batch of sounds for you to use in your own experiments. In this pack you will find hundreds of loops and sounds to serve as raw materials to be cut up, rearranged and manipulated to create your own tracks which you can submit to In Silent Series to be considered for a future compilation (next submission date is September 1st). 

As a guide to these sounds, In Silent Series will be releasing a series of 4 track EP’s created by some of the most talented producers of the modern era using the ISS X Sounds. Today we present a stellar track from ISS founder Positive Centre and Italian artist Tullia Benedicta. The piece perfectly builds from haunting atmospheres to rhythmic experimentations for a powerful composition which lodges deep in the psyche. Further, the 10th EP on ISSX brings together some of today’s most talented producers including Stephanie Sykes, Ireen Amnes and  Go Hiyama.
