HOME DIGGIN' #19

A new mix...for a project that has been sitting around. @bodyzone is something I started where I released two mixtapes of original music back in 2020. Four years later, I thought it was only fitting to start this up again by releasing a recording dedicated to the Midwest since the actual 'Body Zone' is a gay bathhouse located in Detroit which is a 5 minute drive to Menjos where the infamous Club Toilet parties take place.

This mix is a reflection of the set I played when I was invited this last year in 2023. Through all the practice sessions and preparations I made to get myself up on that stage, I found a few decent recordings and versions of what I played that night during Movement weekend. Consider this my Club Toilet retrospective.

Die beiden Brüder im Geiste hat die Liebe zur Musik und das schwarze Gold zusammengebracht. Moodyzwen zeigt mit seiner Tribute Mix Show mit wechselnden Artist und Label Tribute Mixen diese Liebe und Helwig tut dies als DJ in Clubs (u.a. 11 J. Resident im Robert Johnson Club) und als Host der German House Community Livestreams mit wechselnden DJ Gästen. In ihren Back 2 Back Sets hört man das Gespür und die Passion für House Musik.

She is currently a resident DJ at Atdge Seoul and also a member of the party and podcast label Peaking Too Early.

Haemi Park 은 미니멀 기반의 음악을 플레이하는 디제이다. 음악을 타고 형성되는 특유의 기류를 퍼뜨리는 그루브를 지향하며, 그것을 통해 플로어에 매력있고 묘한 무드를 만들어간다.

현재 이태원의 클럽 Atdge Seoul 의 레지던트 DJ이며, 파티 및 팟캐스트 레이블 Peaking Too Early 의 멤버로도 활동 중이다.

Friendship made in music is a thing forever. Cruising on sounds for the last two decades, Forbidden Dance is a new chapter in one of those friendships. Two artists from Croatia are branching out on their own after being intertwined in numerous projects on the local and regional scene all these years. There comes a time when years of collecting and spinning vinyl developes a need to acknowledge one's experience through the finest step, selecting and releasing personal favourites. In short, Forbbiden Dance will be a personal hommage to the music fed by founders immense love for different electronic soundscapes both dancefloor and lounge oriented.
