After releasing two legends Alton Miller and Vick Lavender, new EP is signed by a young and sound broad producer from Naples - The Mechanical Man.

Drawing influences from the sound of Chicago, Philadelphia and Motor City he achieved to catch the multi essence of the house sound into a four-track journey marked with slow and fast-paced soulful corners dominated by toned vocals and stripped-down beats all the way to the underexposed lounge sections and playful intermissions.

Drum programming is a strong point for The Mechanical Man and it can be clearly heard in "A1 - The Streets Of Revelation". Infused with vintage Linn Drum hits, the track intertwines numerous elements in a hoppy and gentle swirl riding on double vocals. Everything takes a full sonic conclusion in the third quarter when the main synth starts to breathe fully.

Residing on almost the same rhythm hits, "A2 - I Keep Thinking" is more of a deep dive into love dreams. Emotional and subtle pads and chords progression are really felt here as the track rubs under soft vocals in need of a response.

The light essence is captured on "B1 - What Your Eyes Don't See". While the delayed vocals are cutting the motion and the rhythm is rougher, it still manages to keep the terrace vibe movement. Rhode-like section carries the track all the way with occasionally reduced percussion hits spicing up the background.

On the other note, "B2 - Take Her In Your Arms" is a gentle dance of maracas and rhodes. The acoustic bass is quite seductive and inviting whilst flutes and other elements riddle the track with a toned-down lounge feel and sway into hypnotic slow-motion.

Brine is a producer based in Bologna, Italy who
has spent the last decade crafting a wide
variety of dance music that often blurs the lines
between house and funky disco. As a DJ his
formative years were spent in London, playing
at hot spots like Egg London, later at San
Francisco’s Monarch nightclub & Bonobo club
in Tokyo. With a heavy knowledge of jazz and a
healthy lust for dreamy Balearic grooves, Brine
blends it all from his secret laboratory known as
Tree House Studios. Out on the road he is
always hunting for rare records and exploring
new jams to drop on your ears. His smooth &
natural ability to move a packed dance floor of
any kind makes him as exciting on the turntables as he is in the studio.

Brine channels a sound washed in what some would say endless sunshine that is finely tuned in the late hours of the evening.

Kat Kat Tat is a Berlin-born artist. As a multi-disciplinary person, she (they) work in several fields at once, always fusing several elements into different formats. Whether its the music in her paintings, human interconnection in her performances, intimacy in her photography, nightlife and street art in her paintings, her quirky approach to expression and humanity has a delightful touch of neon color- and playfulness. Friendship made in music is a thing forever. Cruising on sounds for the last two decades, Forbidden Dance is a new chapter in one of those friendships. Two artists from Croatia are branching out on their own after being intertwined in numerous projects on the local and regional scene all these years. There comes a time when years of collecting and spinning vinyl developes a need to acknowledge one's experience through the finest step, selecting and releasing personal favourites. In short, Forbbiden Dance will be a personal hommage to the music fed by founders immense love for different electronic soundscapes both dancefloor and lounge oriented.
