The track Rockit, which became the pearl of the album "Future Shock" by musician Herbie Hancock (Herbert Jeffrey Hancock), released in 1983. It was the first big hit that first used scratching . The single received a 1984 Grammy for Best R&B Performance. The music video was filmed by filmmaking duo Godley and Krim using robotic, music-moving installations in a sort of virtual environment. At the 1984 MTV Awards, the video received five nominations: "Best", "Most Experimental Video", "Best Special Effects", "Best Artistic" and "Best Editing"
In addition, he was nominated in the categories "best video of the year" and  "viewers' choice". Soviet viewers liked the track thanks to the movie "Courier" by Karen Shakhnazarov in 1986.  A younger generation knows this masterpiece from the Wildstyle radio station in the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City video game.  The artwork became the worldwide anthem of breakdance in the 80s.  The remix for this hit was created by the outstanding DJ and sound producer Nikita Peredel.  Born in Moscow, and received a musical education in Ibiza.

I can't find the words to describe the feeling I had while playing this set on the playa of AfrikaBurn 2022. I played more than 20 hours that week on our mutant vehicle The Flying Dutchman, but this set between 2 and 5 a.m. on Friday night/Saturday morning was really something special. Every piece of the puzzle just fell exactly in its right place, if you were there you know what I mean. Thanks so much if you were part of it, and thanks again if you're joining the fun now.

Charles Mogane, stage name as Exte C is a young urban musician from South Africa Mpumalanga Bushbuckridge, started Deejay mixing in the year 2011 then moved further to production in the year of 2012 then proceeded to releasing online 2013 with his new record label called Khuluma Entertainment.

This is my latest mix, and most likely the last one for a while. I have been on the journey of learning my own music production, and while it's been extremely fun, it's also been extremely challenging and at times, mentally & emotionally exhausting. Often times, I put too much pressure on myself -- but as I took a break from production to make this mix, it reminded me why I started learning in the first place. Music, like all forms of art, should encourage the ebb and flows of inspiration. I am focused on putting less pressure on myself, and more so, putting stuff out that I find interesting :) Thank you for the support as always <3
