Heuse - Oasis

When the pandemic started it limited me and forced me to stay still, which made me finally realize I should reach out and ask for some help or maybe just talk to someone. This transitioned me into using my time to set a healthier schedule, system, among other things. While originally I had made my artist name, "Cabin Fever" because this devastating pandemic brought myself and the entire world into a new time, a time of quarantine, precaution, unpredictability, and loneliness. Those feelings that this brought reminded me of the phrase "Cabin Fever." (Definition: irritability, listlessness, and similar symptoms resulting from long confinement or isolation indoors during the winter.) I then decided to put a mask on the cover of my first two singles, because that's what humanity needs to do and I feel that they are so important. After my first singles were released, I was wanting to channel a different perspective of feeling. I realized that in a way my brain had always held itself back by confining itself and that I had been isolated this whole time. In a way my brain had always been in a state of "Cabin Fever", shifting the meaning of my artist name into something new for me. Accepting this allowed me to feel free, and I started looking for royalty free vocals online that were saying something meaningful to me that I knew I could build what's to me a beautiful piece of art around, packed with feeling. With this, I made Metamora.
