The Farsights are a trio of four-eyed kids from three different musical backgrounds. Frontman, Phil has spent years playing acoustic folk rock with a focus on storytelling. Bassist, Brynn, is an accomplished jazz guitarist. Drummer, Ryan, has sharpened his teeth on punk and psych rock. All of these influences shine through on stage and on tape.

A Winter Downpour was born from the ashes of a dark winter. Frontman Alberto Serrano Rivera founded the band in St. Cloud with an acoustic guitar and a handful of songs. The project grew to a full band before disbanding as each band member moved away.

Relocated to Duluth and reinvigorated, Alberto and former bassist Chris Barnholdt recruited the talents of drummer Ken Nyberg and avant-garde guitarist Paul Connolly. Kevin Zak took over on bass duties in 2013. Their new album, Vandrovec, I Need Help, features a collection of moody, introspective tracks that explore surviving the beauties and disappointments of everyday life.
