Winter Feast for the Soul

The Feast for the Soul is 40-day spiritual practice intensive observed each year on January 15. Thousands of people worldwide observe the Feast by committing or recommitting to their spiritual practice for 40 days in order to expand their awareness and cultivate personal peace. 

The founder, Valerie Skonie, was inspired in 2007 to form the Feast, by the words of a Persian mystic, popular poet, Jelaluddin Rumi: “What nine months does for the embryo, forty early mornings will do for your growing awareness.” 

The Feast for the Soul is a not-for-profit organization that offers online meditation and practice support free of charge via meditation recordings, instruction, and inspiration.
