"It was an absolute honour to be asked to perform before my friend’s debut Live performance and it was something that inspired me deeply. I spent weeks trawling through music, a fiendish response I haven’t experienced for years.

I wanted to create a sonic landscape that sprawled and surprised. This is the music I love. It contains deeply hypnotic ambient soundscapes, wild syncopated rhythms, mournful electronica with some lashings of acid house and techno. The dialogue throughout is from the film Basquait (1996).

Hailing from California, now a proud resident of Melbourne for the past nine years. Her musical journey began amidst the vibrant electronic scene down under, where she fell head over heels for the enchanting world of melodic house, techno, and progressive house.

Plethora's story took shape during countless nights at iconic venues like Revolver, where the pulsating beats and hypnotic melodies ignited her passion for the art of mixing. It was her partner who ignited her passion, teaching her the art of DJing and setting her on a path of sonic exploration driven by the desire to create unique and unforgettable experiences on the dance floor. She has now had the privilege of playing at Pitch Music Festival, Tanglewood Festival, MyAeon, SubClub, Sooki Lounge, and has come full circle by playing at the Melbourne venue where it all began - the Revs cage.

Low-Key Reservations ː Vol 2 - MIXED BUSINESS | Trip Hop

Once again I was given the ultimate honour of being asked to play at the wonderful Rainbow Serpent Festival this year. For the second year running I took to the Chill Stage to share some of my favourite downtempo and ambient style tracks. I felt completely at home this year on that stage and had one of the more enjoyable experiences playing. There was something about this year’s festival that just oozed joy and happiness. Perhaps that was more a reflection of self, but either way I had an amazing time. 

Hopefully you can hear that joy through the music I chose.
