My contribution to an album of "remixes". The original "song" is a cross-fade between two audio recordings, one of a fire and one of a stream (of water). Following that is the musical content; four chords, a kick and a snare.

Suffice to say, making a remix meant bringing many new elements to the table. I decided to keep it simple and have it closely resemble the original while gently adding significant elements, such as a vocal melody (the lyrics I wrote were scrapped) and a section where I change up the rhythm the chords are played. This new rhythm is something I find quite appealing.
