I was lucky to be introduced to Hip-Hop in it's Golden Age. It was a glorious time, with some of the best rappers & djs releasing classic after classic.
I naturally evolved into funk, soul, blues and jazz, where most of the hip-hop I loved, was sampled from. I started diggin' in back alley record shops all over my native Dublin and became a fiend for vinyl.
Around this time, I was listening to a pirate station called Jazz 89.8FM. I auditioned a mixtape and I landed a weekly slot, which lasted for 6 amazing years. During this time I was DJing all around Dublin as well as residency at Jazz FM club nights. I also played a set at the Cork Jazz Festival, Ireland.
Since then, I've moved focus towards more upbeat, bass driven remixes & mash-ups, but still love the funk, soul and hip-hop.
I then moved to Vancouver where I joined CITR 101.9FM with a show called Bootlegs & B-Sides where I played the cream of breakbeats, glitch-hop, funky breaks, mash-ups, covers, dubstep, ghetto funk, drum n bass, house and hip-hop. I was nominated by the public for the Canadian DJ Stylus Awards for College Radio Show of The Year. Had a residency in Fan Club Vancouver as well as The Electro Swing Club Vancouver. When I returned to Dublin, I continued pumping out the Bootlegs & B-Sides on PheverFM.  More recently I have joined up with Radio RapTz www.raptz.com in Paris to spread the love across Europe, as well Radio Byron https://radiobyron.com/ in Australia. I have also joined the roster of Dublin's PlayFM, https://playfmdublin.com/ with a show every Sunday at 10pm GMT.
