S&S Records, Inc. (and S&S Chicago, Inc.) was established by 4-time GRAMMY® nominated producer and House Music pioneer Steve "Silk" Hurley and global DJ/Producer Shannon "DJ Skip" Syas. Silk and Skip merged Hurley's worldwide commercial success and Syas' strong global following to form S&S Records. S&S Records has accumulated a catalog of new and classic hit records from global artists all over.

House Music and Remix Pioneer Steve "Silk" Hurley has remixed, produced and/or written over 200 records, with at least 50 of them reaching the Billboard Dance Charts, and dozens reaching R&B and Pop Charts. Steve has countless Platinum, Gold, and Silver records, and his Productions have sold so far in the millions that it is difficult to calculate how many. From the '90s until today, Silk's production and remixing services have been utilized by everyone from Michael Jackson, Prince, J-Lo, Madonna, Janet Jackson, R. Kelly, Mary J Blige, to Paula Abdul, Lionel Richie, and even Liza Minnelli. Silk is now a 4-Time GRAMMY Nominated producer as well.

The Word Is Love featured vocals by Sharon Pass, who was a demo singer for Silks ID Records. She finally got to shine on this now-classic record, and Silk's signature chant vocals (Oohm-Dah) also provided a memorable moment as well. Along the way, The Word Is Love topped many charts all over the world and was Nominated for a GRAMMY® as part of Silk's body of remix work. The composition was written by Hurley himself along with M-Doc, Silk's co-writer on CeCe Peniston's hits Keep On Walkin & I'm Not Over You, and Kym Sims Take My Advice.

Produced exclusively for his coveted ‘Franky Rizardo In The House’ compilation mix, you can now get your hands on these two masterful edits from Franky Rizardo. Firstly he takes on Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’, a contemporary deep house classic, alongside Whitesquare’s ‘Abduction’ which is taken from his ‘Reflection EP’ released on DFTD in early 2017. The result is an upfront tech house powerhouse with Whitesquare’s whomping bassline littered with neat percussive hooks, layered under Worthy Davis’ sultry vocals.  Second track ‘Forward Pleasure’ splices Paolo Rocco’s ‘Move Body, Move Forward’ with Coyu’s ‘Profound Pleasure’, maintaining the resounding depth of Coyu’s unmistakeable bassline and Paolo’s heavily filtered and emotive top line. Whitesquare 'Underground Abduction' (Franky Rizardo Flow Edit)

The next release on Roush Label comes from Italian tag-team, Luigi Rocca and RUDE. Their 'Lagger Master' EP consists of three fresh original cuts, loaded with plenty of contemporary tech house flavours and geared perfectly for the dancefloor. The title track opens the show with blistering pace. Piercing drums and sharp hat rhythms are accompanied by a rough and groovy bassline, tied up nicely with offbeat percussion, vocal and synth injections. Expect big buildups with huge amounts of energy and hammering drops. 'Matto Grosso' follows up with a more deep tech feel, the kind of stuff that Luigi is well known for with his 303Lovers imprint. An essentially sophisticated number with lots of tasty low-frequency action driven throughout. Don't get too relaxed, though, as the transitions will sneak up on you out of nowhere with their unexpected extremities. Finally, 'The Switch' reverts back to uptempo tech, driven by its emphasis on percussion and groove. Heavyset kicks and a rumbling sub bounce the track along nicely, being supplemented by subtle melodic hits and a catchy vocal kook. Federico Scavo was born near Florence in Italy. Inspired by the art and culture of his surroundings, he showed talent from an early age as a musician, composer and producer.
Driven by results, Federico spends his life working in the studio and devoting himself to his passion of djing. His remarkable talent has attracted the attention of artists such as Kaskade and Pete Tong, who choose his tracks for their sets in the best clubs around the globe.

He sits down in 1994 to compose “This is the night” - his very first tune with New System, which soon becomes an international success, achieving Platinum status in Canada where sales reach 400,000.
In 2002 “Another brick in the wall” – officially approved for release by Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters – is another worldwide success, winning him a “Disco D’Oro” in Italy for selling 28,000 copies.

Not long after that, Federico applies his golden remix touch to tunes by world famous artists such as Bob Sinclar (“A far l’amore”) and John Acquaviva (“Wiki Leaks”) In a September 2012 interview Bob Sinclar recently, when asked to name the djs to watch – the ones to bet on – answered ‘first and foremost Federico Scavo.’

In 2011 the release of “Strump” marked a seminal point in his career. The track became one of the most popular in Italy, notching up 3,000,000 viewers across Youtube channels and making it to number 3 in the iTunes sales chart.

As his own record label Area94 continues to boost his popularity on the international scene, his productions are increasingly in demand from high profile labels such as Hotfingers, Pacha recordings and Toolroom, with whom he has signed a long-term collaboration - becoming part of the “home artists”.

“I DO” on Toolroom is supported by Tiesto, Kaskade, Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez. And Federico Scavo "Aniba" has been included on RELEASE YOURSELF 12 by Roger Sanchez who often invites Federico to be a guest on the Release Yourself radio show.
Most amazing of all are his dj sets. Federico plays his own tracks – remixing and mashing in his studio so that each dj set is unique. He describes his own style as: ‘…house but a bit funky - winking at the most innovative and contemporary electro - eclectic with some references to the 70s, combined with some sexy tribal…a blended sound dressed with effects’.

To keep himself fit, Federico travels throughout Italy blessing the best clubs with his sound, while on the international scene he has played in clubs such as Nikki beach Miami, Toolroom night @ ADE, Pacha in Sharm El Sheik, Kos on the island of Greece, Space Menorca, Five Sixty Vancouver, Shore House Moscow.
