Weightless is an EP of intricate original piano compositions by UK artist Alex Kozobolis. With a series of solo releases over the past few years and collaborations with artists such as Lee Chapman, Harry Edwards, and Anna Rose Carter, Weightless represents Alex's unique approach to composition and melody. 

His touch on the piano is light and fluid; moving between dense sustained runs, which evaporate as soon as they are heard, to spaciously plotted notes. Weightless is the sound of weight itself lifting, of the earthly effect of gravity removed and allowing the listener to be suspended within mid-air, uninterrupted by pressures and restrains of the physical world. Coursing with energy, and running to take flight.

Each of the four tracks have been remixed by Siavash Amini, Tom Adams, Trnspt and Hedia, with very different, but cohesive results, expanding the tone of the EP into new areas.  

Weightless will be available on limited clear vinyl, digipack CD and digital editions.

'Now' is the final single shared from Christa's soon to be released album, 'Makeshift Happiness. It commences as an electronic ballad reminiscent of Massive Attack with a 90s melancholia, but opens out into a sweeping and epic percussive journey reflecting the lyrics which are a mantra of purpose and intent. French experimental electronic producer @Mabeaat offers a downtempo remix of the original swirling with jazz inflections and Flume-like cuts. This single and remix will not be released separately as an EP but will be available with the full album release.

About The EP

Ten years ago, I released "Soon It Will Be Cold Enough" on CD-Rs, biking to the post office a few times a week to send out whatever orders trickled in through the Paypal address I had posted on Myspace. Somehow it reached the ears of iconic Japanese hip-hop producer Nujabes and was released on his label, Hydeout Productions. In addition to giving the album a professional mixdown, Nujabes suggested a new tracklist that omitted two songs, "Maps" and "Father King." As a special nod to the ten year anniversary of my first album and these two lost tracks which are still dear to me and many of my listeners, I'll be releasing a special Maps & Father King EP on November 11th with both tracks remastered and remixed by four different producers. I'm very excited to give new life to these songs in the form of this special release which will be available on vinyl as well as all the usual digital platforms.
