PaperWork is an unsigned up & coming rap/hip hop artist. PaperWork was born and raised on the west side of Chicago Illinois, in the east Garfield Park area, specifically a part of that area known as “SF”. Growing up on the west side of Chicago PaperWork, like most others, was around drugs and violence on a regular basis. But PaperWork also got to see a lot of the fun sites of the city and had a few positive people around him to balance out the chaos. PaperWork embodies his upbringing in his music, he speaks about things he’s done, things he’s seen, situations he’s experienced and the lifestyle he’s been around. PaperWork also speaks about current situations and aspirations he has for the near future. PaperWork was introduced to rap music by his uncle at 3 years old, started memorizing full songs at 6, and wrote his first song at 11. Though PaperWork is an underground artist he is a very hard worker musically and very consistent. PaperWork has released 9 mixtapes in the last 10 years, and he’s performed at almost every major venue in Chicago. PaperWork has also performed in Atlanta and in Miami. PaperWork is a versatile rap artist, he can give you real life/pain music, feel good/party music, songs that make u think/reflect, and can even give u a splash of r&b when he wants to. PaperWork is a student of the game, he studies past and present hip hop, he’s experimental musically, and he’s an all around great songwriter. When listening to PaperWork you can always expect authenticity, creativity, originality, energy, and a top notch effort that almost sounds effortless.
