I want to dig in the cemetery, rehydrate our corpse. I forgot what we looked like, what we wore. Will the casket have rotted, exposing new contents and places we could not explore? 

Buried the future in a wooden box. Fleeting memories, decayed forget-me-nots. 

I sing songs over the grave, ritualistic suffering. I can still feel you in the pain. 

Death is a gift. It's violent and occupies every corner of every thought I've had since my memories counted. All love will soon turn to ashes and one will be forced to scatter the other. Is the ocean a fitting place? I hated the heat, but you enjoyed the sand. At this point I'm so fucked up I'm not even sure which skeleton I'm dealing with. My pride and arrogance makes it hard to focus on addressing this, I fucked up. This was all supposed to be a metaphor for not letting go, whatever it is now, I can't tell anymore.
  
I've spent countless nights preforming sacrifices, sacred ceremonies to conjure up what haunts me. This nightmare is real and all encompassing. Speak with the dead, but they won't answer me.
