Friend began his journey as a music journalist in 2010 founding @psymedia before taking up DJing 2017. In 2018 he moved from South Africa to Vietnam and quickly established himself as a formidable DJ and promoter in the region. From sandy beaches down south to mystical caves up north, Friend played at many reputable clubs, festivals and tropical jungle raves such as Studio Adventure, Savage, Retreat (Equation), We Groove and Equinox Festival. His creatively curated 'This Is' club nights and prolific sunrise afterparties in Hanoi under his humble record label @magicboxengine also played a pivotal role in shaping the city's underground music scene.

Since returning to Cape Town in 2021, Friend has performed at renowned festivals and prolific venues such as Wolfkop Weekender, Bazique, Habitat, Into The Wild, Afrikaburn, Origin Festival and Modular Club. Often eclectic, sometimes obscure, always tasteful - Friend's forever evolving sound is heavily influenced by his nomadic travels in SE Asia, South America and Europe. Never shy to switch up the genre or tempo, his versatile approach sees him blending elements of ambient, house, minimal, techno, electro and breakbeats spanning both new school and old.

Chech, is a Spanish artist originally from Galicia who has lived in cities like Barcelona or Porto, he has been acting as a DJ and producer for more than 15 years, co-owner of Never Is Eternal and his own label CH:CH, he defines himself as a lover of electronic music in general but his sounds are based on Minimal, highlighting the structure of his groove through percussion and play of atmospheres that sometimes border on deep, house, or techno, adding touches of other styles such as jazz. , funky, among others. Possibility of listening to his music under the "underground" label with a characteristic essence, productions that can heat up the dance floor or even alter it.

He has released for different record labels around the world, Zebra Rec., Rockets Audio and some others already have Chech's sound in their catalog. His remixes for Enzo Leep, Vern, as well as those made by artists such as Vern himself, Direkt, Techu, Pheek, among others, have been highlighted by media such as Trommel, Feeder.ro, Storytellers, Rayzeh and supported by artists from the likes of Traumer, Ricardo Villalobos, Mihai Pol, Barac, Mihai Popoviciu...

An artist in constant motion who has performed sharing billboards with names like Hernan Cattaneo, Peggy Gou, David Gtronic, Alex Font and many more.

He now releases his first vinyl for FAFO Records, with remixes by Reboot and Niko Maxen, experience the sound of "Regular Guy" or "Eternal Youth" and you will understand what he is talking about.
