Public Figures is a project by the Valencian duo Alex Font & SeGü, presented under the Acmé umbrella. This free download series showcases a selection of hidden gems we've played over the years—carefully edited, restructured, and occasionally enhanced with additional production.

Over the past decade, we've crafted these edits for our own sets. Now, we're excited to share them with the world, reviving incredible original ideas and giving them a well-deserved second life.

Hailing from Manchester, Gudj is a rising star in the minimal scene, shaped by the city’s vibrant music culture. Unlike the introspective tones of traditional minimal house, he infuses his tracks with infectious rolling rhythms and emotive house vibes, delivering high-energy productions. His dubby arrangements, cosmic synth effects, and deep basslines create an immersive sonic journey.

This release features remixes from Argentina’s Alejo Ruiz (AR), making his debut with Evaporate after releases on top labels like Dubøka and Juuz; Pedro Barros from Portugal, a label friend whose cosmic atmospheres evoke minimal’s golden era; and Australia’s Venda, a scene influencer whose innovative sound never fails to spark anticipation.
