Vivian - dub blend

Set description: With this set, I intended to blend the old and the new, creating a balance between the dub techno classics and 2020 releases of the same genre. Not just musically but also the artist selection of the set, which are both locals and international. Whether you will hear the all-time classics Basic Channel or not know who you are hearing, I believe that all tracks and sounds of this set are awesome and will set you in a nice mood.

About Vivian

Artist biography: Vivian began digging through electronic music around 2007 when the underground scene in Bucharest was quietly growing. He also had the chance to support the movement, attending most of the events that took place in venues like The Web, Studio Martin, and Session. Throughout the years he follows his passion, collecting numerous records from diverse genres including funk, jazz, deep and tech house, techno, and other uptempo electronic music. At the same time, he dedicates a lot of time to mixing, playing eclectic rhythms at parties, providing delightful moments to the people. His musical adventures take him to venues like Guest House, Motiv, Misbits, Rockers Vinyl Coffee Shop, alongside artists like Ada Kaleh, Cristi Cons, Janeret, and Tulbure, to name just a few.

Vivian - Dub Blend

Heresku was born in Bucharest, Romania. His journey towards djing started in 2007, with the participation in numerous electronic music events, later he ends up mixing in numerous clubs and private parties in Bucharest. 
His passion for underground music started in his childhood, hip-hop being his favorite genre of music at that time. Wanting to create his own style of mixing, started experimenting the underground side of electronic music, adding influences from musical genres: hip-hop, jazz, soul and funk.
Currently, in his sets he creates a musical story, combining house, tech-house, deep-house, jackin-house, Nu disco and soulful house tracks.
He was influenced in these years the artists like Luciano, Derrick Carter, Dj Sneak, Frankie Knuckles and Hector Moralez.
In 2014, he decided to start to make music, releasing in that year his first song, "Mocacino", his first EP "Beginnings" was released in 2017. The second EP "Piano Rulzz" was released in 2018 by the label Jet Alone Music (Mexico), followed by the remix for the song "Beep beep – Sophee" released in 2020 by the label Jet Alone Music (Mexico). In 2022, he independently releases the song "Keep your breath" and planning to release 2 more songs by the end of this year.
