Cobertizo is the new solo project of Hugo Carretero, 50% of dj duo and producers MORDISCO and Head of LATIDO records. MORDISCO's music can be enjoyed on labels such as Atomnation, Get Physical, Bedrock, Nein Records, Duro or My Favorite Robots Records, and their productions have been played or supported by artists such as Red Axes, Curses, John Digweed, Tiga, Tim Sweeney or Silicone Soul to name a few. 
Now, through this new alias, this artist from the South of Spain seeks to channel his personal creative concerns and give voice to his particular point of view about electronic music. Cosmic, New Wave, EBM, Electro and Disco are the main ingredients that serve to define his sound. Despite the fact that this new project is only a few months old, the music released so far has been very well received, being premiered in international channel such as Sinchi Collective, Mutant Disco Radio Show or Sweet Music, and supported or played by artists such as Perel, Local Suicide or Tronik Youth.
Cobertizo also is in charge of curating the electronic music section of RIT/MO festival, and hosting the famous MORDISCO CLUB parties, events that have given him an invaluable creative impulse thanks to the great guests who have played in these parties, such as John Talabot, Jennifer Cardini, Sascha Funke, Zombies in Miami, Red Axes, Curses, TERR, Lauer, Budino, Moderna, etc.
