Birds is the musical project of East London based DJ, Katie Wilkinson. Her music is melting pot of techno, 90s acid, electro, 80's goth, EBM and New Wave. It brings together acid bass lines with post-punk guitars and off kilter vocals to create something refreshingly original. She has released on labels such as Höga. Nord, Ombra International, NEIN, Hard Fist and Samo Records. Her releases have received support from the likes of Erol Alkan. She has also received a lot of love for for her captivating live sets.

As a DJ, as well as through her music production she exercises a never-ending desire to explore sonic possibility and continuously switch up genres. Her sets reflects these curiosities and have an extremely transcendent nature to them. You never know whether you'll find yourself dancing to churning low tempo industrial techno, high tempo acid bass lines, Italo or something somewhere between these things. Nothing is too weird or intense for a Birds DJ set... As if she wasn't busy enough somehow she's managed to maintain a monthly radio show on Netil Radio for the past three years.

Birds is a rising star who you'd do well to follow and we are excited to annouce that she will be our next guest at club night at the Upstairs, Inverness. (Link below)

Joris Heijkant is a co-founder of TANK Kollektiv, the Amsterdam-based dark disco platform that has a weekly podcast with the finest dj's of the genre and does small-scale events in The Netherlands. Joris' style is eclectic, centering around chugging dark disco and taking heavy inspiration from new wave and electronica. Expect a lot of arpeggios and heavy synth music!
