Time for something a bit different! Here's my official remix of Too Short's Weird Science, a collab I did with my good friend Wolf-e-Wolf. The original also features verses from Oh Blimey and the was produced by San Francisco's El Diablo. We took the original and flipped it on it's head, adding a good deal of melody and big bass but still keeping the relatively dark hip hop vibe. I've been graciously allowed to offer this up as a free download, so grab it while you can!

44 minutes and 25 seconds of 10th-generation genre-re-wiring, exploring bass music through an open-minded lens, regardless of tempo, or even beat-structure… this sound clash aims straight for your body, with the intent to melt you down into a fidgeting, wobbling mess of enthusiasm and delight. In addition to some of my favorite old records and samples, this mix features several brand new bassnectar tracks, heaps of exclusive edits, re-edits, and re-re-re-edits. Lot’s of re. Lot’s of mix. Lot’s of edits. We tore our favorite drum &amp; bass to shreds, injected hip hop with some pogo-stick bass, amped up the tempo of dubstep, freaked out the gypsies, gave a nod to the dreamy 80’s and ended up similar to where we started off: omni-tempo maximalism strikes again.

Proud to share this collection of songs! Collab EP with @scalartheorem where the concept was to each write an original song and then send each other stems to remix without ever having heard the complete song. It was a cool idea and we ended up with 4 stellar tracks! 

For these tracks, I really wanted to explore some sounds I haven't had a chance to yet and move away from future/trap/dubstep hybrids. I've grown up around Buddhism and the "Daimoku" chant (nam myoho renge kyo)really stuck with me, so I decided to hunt for a good sample and well, this is where it ended up! It's a little different but I hope you enjoy.

Scalar Theorem sent me the stems to this bad boy and I was instantly inspired and knew where I wanted to take it. This was definitely inspired by the G Jones-ish vibe and I hope you can hear it. Hopefully still has a little Feelmonger to it though!
