After watching the news about the volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland, the four-piece post-rock band Laxá composed the first track of their new album as a result. 

Entititled "Eldensgill," which translates as "Fire Angel", it melds post rock and classical elements provided by the Heima Quartet.

The band members are:

ORGOTH - PROJECT: PAIN

This song was originally meant to simply tell the story of one of us meeting their soulmate during a minor car accident. However, after another member of the band had a nightmare about a gigantic flying machine crashing into a big city, the concept evolved. In the end, these two ideas were mixed together, giving birth to 'Crash and Burn' as you hear it now!
