This tune was composed for our winner demo at Datastorm 2014. The tune was used for a huge sideways scrolling hires bitmap and the first thing to appear was a giagantic Fairlight logo (one of our three groups) and as they have their "theme" I decided that it would be pretty fun to have that theme sound first in the tune. Then I ended the theme by holding the last note and then making it fade into a THX kinda effect to let people know that they should expect entertainment now.

So when the music kicks in, our OFFENCE logo starts to flash... but check out the demo yourself, and you will see what I mean.

The name for the tune was easy, as the final screen of the scroller shows a text we meant very much: WE ARE ALL CONNECTED... as in, all C64 sceners/fans are connected.. we share this hobby and fun with this old piece of hardware. C64 forever! :-)

Dolphin SICKEST DROPS OF ALL TIME

I thought the idea of the Gubdata oldskool party happening in Sweden was rather fun and wanted to participate with something as they allowed for remote entries in all compos. So I decided to make something oldskool to fit the vibes of it. As I am really from the time of oldskool tunes I wanted to give it a try and do one with the sounds I really enjoy myself. 

Hope you like it too. I have some parts of the solo/leads that I wish I had made differently, but hey - it was made in a short time, so I am still rather satisfied with the outcome based on the amount of time spend.

I am particularly happy about the bass myself.

Funny Old Farts (with Triace)

This tune was created for a Commodore 64 diskmag called Vandalism News. It's very slow on purpose and quite repetitive too, but its supposed NOT to take focus from the diskmag itself as the reader has plenty of pages to go through without thinking too much about the tune.

Dunno if I succeeded this time, was a bit in a hurry with this one. I still hear parts I think I might have done different if more time, but hey - I managed to get it done before deadline. 

Note: there is a music player inside the diskmag where the reader can choose which tune to hear, so if they get tired of one tune, they can just pick another one - IF all the composers delivers their tunes as promised. My focus this time was more on the intro tune with INXS cover, which you can find below here too.

Our concept designer though the end of the song had too much spirit of a knightly hero to the rescue to be part of the demo. So i had to rewrite it a little to fit the atmosphere.

Moody Cougar was begun a few days before the yearly Mega Mountain Meltdown that is held in the mountains of Norway near GOL. A place where Stein invites our group to meet and celebrate for a weekend.

I was able to attend the meeting this time and on the saturday, we all decided that the C64 scene needed a little demo from us. So "PRIVATE PARTS" was begun. But it needed some music. Stein created a trance/techno styled intro theme and I began on this one. Late that night, I was done and so was the demo. Now "PRIVATE PARTS" was a reality.
