Sidney Charles returns to AVOTRE with 'Cave Rave', an EP which finds the Berliner in finest form. This is a package that will satisfy the broadest range of underground house music fans and DJs, with remixes from Darius Syrossian, Russ Yallop, and Kalyde.

'Cave Rave' is classic Sidney, and has been a major not-so-secret weapon in his and AVOTRE label boss Santé's sets for a few months now. An upbeat, rolling groove combines with stabbed synths and an acid bassline, giving the track a peaktime, hands in the air quality that has been a firm staple in Sidney's latest productions.

Darius Syrossian and Russ Yallop also appear on the EP, remixing two of Sidney's tracks, 'Housin The Rave' and 'Rumpshaker' respectively, and turning in some highly idiosyncratic and signature work. Darius' remix has all the components that have made him such an underground fixture of late, with a jacking, percussive roll to it. Russ's remix is a more techy, dubby, stripped back affair, sure to satisfy the late night ravers. 

Bristol based Kalyde is on 'Cave Rave' remix duties, turning the track into un upfront, UK Techno track. This emerging producer has already seen his tracks getting regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM, and with such a tough, recognisable sound, it is easy to see this remix being the surprise choice in this package.

Latmun, the moniker of Joe Bradley is making his mark through his own interpretation of the House and Tech House soundscape. We have enjoyed  his DJ sets  recently and his own productions have a coherent energy, an infectious groove being the key component causing the crowd to remain captivated, something he has picked up from many sunrises caught in the clubs of Ibiza, and time spent during the early hours in London. Latmun is an all round lover of music and should be on your radar, as one to watch for 2016.

Roush is back with another heart pumping release in “So Different”. Featuring material from “Neverdogs”, the release is a powerful ode to Deep House that also features two remixes from Mennie and Davide Zeta.
The EP kicks off with the original that takes the name of the entire release. “So Different” is a groovy deep house tune that will have your hips and body going side to side. The vocals for the tune feature famous samples stating exactly what you are listening to, DIFFERENT HOUSE. To continue the “So Different” vibe, the label enlists the remix services of Mennie. Mennie’s remix is a much more chill tune that works perfectly at the start of any set. When you think of nightclubs like Beta or even clubs in Ibiza and throughout South America, the tune is a great one for the start of what can be a memorable night to be.
There’s more than just “So Different” on this release though, you additionally get tunes entitled: Curcuma and Hembleceya which help to top off what is already a diverse release from the Roush brand. Hembleceya is a spiritual and vivacious celebration of House music. Bringing it to the roots of what House is, Neverdogs puts their own spin on it which shows why they have rocked shows throughout Egg in London. The tune is remixed by Davide Zeta which takes the original into a more Progressive Deep mode that means you can play both at once and switch back and forth for those 4 turntable shows.

All in all, this EP from Roush and Neverdogs continues to redefine House music in a new decade by still paying tribute to what made it great. Now, stop reading and get on down.

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.

Residing in the outskirts of Frankfurt in a small town called Giessen, a journey started for a young man who is now known as the producer and DJ - F.eht. Growing up in this quiet town in the 90's prepared him got for the path he was to start walking down in his late teens. Through childhood there where many sounds which stuck in his mind and influenced Ferhat in more ways than one, including the sounds of soulful jazz numbers put together by Syl Johnson and many others from the USA, and a great deal of raw dusty beats and samples running through MPC's in the world of Hip Hop.

Since embarking on his journey at the age of 16, his horizon has broadened even more. On the production side, F.eht has released a catalogue of music which has received support from a lot of big names, as well as the support of other up and coming artists over recent years that have grown along side him. A number of projects have been released on his own label Samani, which was launched early 2015.

This young german artist has also had great success in the world of gigs, playing in clubs in Europe, Russia, and other destinations across the world.

With a spectrum of opportunity and talent on his side, things are sure to continue growing for F.eht.
