Just a quick tune I did in the style of Iron Maiden.  I may or may not have nearly copied multiple riffs or licks.  I built a new guitar and was just testing out its sound quality :)

Played on a home built Thinline Tele with a Mighty Mite neck and dimarzio pickups, straight to garage band.

The first single from upcoming EP "Sojourn", released early for #PianoDay2021.

This was the last track I wrote on my upcoming EP "Sojourn". Obviously I wasn't "somewhere in a wooden cabin" while writing it—I was in a blanket fort in a tiny apartment—but I actually named it for the feel. The music seemed warm; the melodies transportive to just about anywhere else, and the piano recorded in a creaky way that made me think of an old cabin in the woods... dusty, empty save for a few pieces of furniture, wood creaking from the floors and from the trees outside. That's exactly the sensation I want you to have while listening—right there in your earbuds, every creak, every space between the notes, everything raw and unprocessed.

Somewhere in a wooden cabin

Andy Feldman is a pianist/multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from New Jersey that creates a wide variety of piano-based music. In addition to currently playing and gigging with the Asbury Park based jam band, Secret Sound, he writes and records music varying from solo piano compositions, to cinematic instrumental music and indie pop/rock. Through his studio work, he has recorded on tracks by Chris Webby and Skrizzly Adams. In 2020, Andy continues to collaborate with other artists in both live and studio settings. As a performer, he has shared the stage with Umphrey's McGee, Lettuce, and Rusted Root, and has performed with Bernard "Pretty" Purdie.
